How did technology affect modern English?

Technology has affected modern English in various ways, the following ways I will tell you below

the influence of technology and internet on modern English language is clearly seen and touched in various ways and means. first: it adds a lot of  "neighborhood vocabulary"                          

second: it provides meaning to existing words and terms,  such as the meaning of "mouse" and "keyboard" and so on.

Therefore, social media revolutionized the process of composing writing and speaking in English. The technology reflects a number of forms of communication. These forms are normally associated with the Internet today is accessed through computers and mobile phones. They include social networks like e- mail and chat rooms

Debate and opinions on the effect of technology on English

Because access to technology does not cause threats to business and social interactions is now easily accessible. most native English speakers, such as foreign students use the Internet several times during the day. It is natural that all languages change over time, the internet has opened a new door for these changes to happen

advantages of studying english online 

Flexibility of schedule. It allows you to adapt the classes to your schedule, which is very useful if you have a job or study and you don't know until what time you will be available or you will have some free time.

There are no absences. Unlike an academy or a classroom course, in online classes there are no absences and you can make up the next day.

 

Geographic availability. If you live in a remote place, this is your best option because this way you don't need to travel for hours.

 

Cost reduction. This is my favorite option since on the internet there are an infinite number of courses that are totally free and help you a lot if you are self-taught.

 

in my opinion there are several advantages and disadvantages of learning english with technology, the disadvantages have been that young people prefer to learn only certain words instead of learning grammar rules in a correct way. But to be honest it is better for us to study it in a correct way and i am proud  we had more english study tools at hand.
